Recommended Indian Wedding Menus
Indian weddings are vibrant, multi-day celebrations that bring together families and honor rich traditions. At 440 Elm, we offer a versatile setting that seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities, perfect for hosting every part of your wedding journey—from the Mehndi to the Sangeet, the Baraat, and the grand reception.
It can be challenging to find a great, fresh location for an Indian wedding. A location that provides an option for a visible open flame can be tricky. Hotels often do not have the capabilities to offer Indian menus and have public access requirements to many spaces that can limit time and access for setup and breakdown. Many locations cannot accommodate the larger guest counts across multiple events that make the modern Indian wedding.
440 Elm offers a rare beautiful urban location for an Indian wedding in a gorgeous building!
We love the color and pageantry of all the elements involved in an Indian wedding. Coming from a part-Indian family we have a strong connection to Indian culture.
We also have our own take on Indian flavors and spices and would love to share it with you with an elevated presentation. We take more from the evolving experience of Indian cuisine in India and the UK than the snapshot of mostly northern Indian cuisine from the 1970's and 1980's that we see at Indian weddings in southern California.

Bite Catering Couture is the owner/ operator of the venue and therefore the exclusive caterer. We have an Indian background and have designed the venue to work well with Indian weddings. We have designed our own Indian menus with bites, buffet, and sit-down options. Our cousins from India think it's a more contemporary take on Indian food than you tend to see from the local restaurant-based caterers that came out in the 60's - 80's...so we look forward to sharing it with you!
